Pres Day Weekend - Raft River, Idaho

February 2011 - Spending a few days away from work and school to be with your sistahs and nieces is what everyone should do on President's Day weekend!  Had the best time chatting and laughing with Maria on the drive up and back...love that girl!  There is nobody quite like Maria!  I don't think there was a dull moment or a lull in the conversation / singing to the radio
at the top of our lungs the whole drive.

When we got to Andrea and Ben's house, Olivia was of course super excited to see me...and a little bit excited to see Maria.  It is a constant battle between me, Ria and Marlene as to who is the favorite aunt, but Olivia answered that question when she squealed with delight and ran to me with open arms!  Then Olivia saw we had our purses on and ran to grab hers.  I swear this girl loves purses more than anyone I know.  Of course, she had to pose with
hands on her hips showing off the stylin purse!

A very rare photo...Olivia smiled AND looked at the camera!
It only happened once the whole trip!  She did it for me cause
 I AM the favorite aunt!

Miss Kylie...adorable as ever

Maria and Olivia (who is only semi-smiling here).

So Olivia thought it would be fun if we all slept in the same bed.  She ran all over the house gathering every quilt, blanket and pillow she could find and insisted that they be put on the bed with us!  We turned the lights out and less than 10 minutes later she decided she didn't have enough "stuff" on the bed.  Not only did she think we needed to have 6 quilts on the bed, but lots of her toys too.  We had the teapot set, goblets, boots, playdough, stuffed animals, and whatever else she decided.  The funniest part of this whole thing is that Maria slept through the whole thing, even though we weren't quiet about bringing in the loot.  This picture does not do it justice to everything that was on our bed.  Olivia only lasted another ten minutes with us before she decided it wasn't that great in our room.  Poor Andrea had to rock her to sleep for an hour before she decided to stay asleep.  She did decide to come in at 6 AM instead.

We started a quilt at Andrea's house...oh...a few years ago.  We finally got around to sewing it again.  It looks like Andrea and Maria were doing all the work, but I did my fair share.  They just didn't take pictures of it!

After it was done, Maria walked around the house with the quilt draped over her singing she was the "King of the Foresssstttttttt" from the Wizard of Oz.  Olivia thought it was pretty cool, so she grabbed her blanket and mimicked Maria.

When we were leaving, we realized that we didn't have a picture of all of us.  We decided to take self-portraits.  They didn't turn out that well...but we had fun trying to get all of us
somewhat in the picture.  We felt bad that Ben wasn't there to get
in on the fun picture moments, maybe next time, Ben!

Thanks girls for a fun weekend!  So glad we are sistahs!!
